Mason Peterson was the Baraboo boys basketball team's lone all-Badger North Conference honoree.
Peterson ran the show for a Baraboo team compiled a 4-19 record, including going 0-14 in Badger North play. The senior guard led the Thunderbirds with 14.9 points per game, while also adding 6.2 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 2.3 steals and 1.1 blocks per game.
A three-year starter and two-time all-conference selection, Peterson finished 12th in Baraboo history with 802 career points. The 6-foot-3 Peterson was a second-team all-Badger North pick last season after averaging 11.5 points per game.
Peterson was one of four seniors on the 2017-18 Baraboo team, joining Justus Neuman, Connor Grogan and Austin Burkhalter.
The Badger North first team was made up of Waunakee's Mitch Listau and Mason Steffen, Reedsburg's Tyson Tully, Beaver Dam's Sam Wilke and DeForest's Austin Westra. Listau was named the Badger North Conference Player of the Year, while Monona Grove's Jake Schroeckenthaler was named the Badger South Conference Player of the Year.
Sauk Prairie senior guard Spencer Kostroski was named to the second team, while Sauk Prairie's Carson Radl and Reedsburg's Will Fuhrmann each earned honorable mention nods.
