A 56-year-old Prairie du Sac man allegedly found sitting nude on his neighbor's patio is free on $1,500 signature bond.
Carl W. Lemm Jr. made his initial appearance Friday via video from the Sauk County jail.
According to a criminal complaint, the woman told a Sauk Prairie police officer that on Sept. 11 at about 1:30 a.m. she went to let her dogs out onto an enclosed patio. When she turned on a light, she noticed her neighbor, Lemm, sitting naked in one of her chairs. Lemm told the neighbor he had been thinking about her and that he had been watching her the other night and seen her wearing pink bikini underwear as she walked around the house.
The woman also told the officer that Lemm knew what she had been watching on television in her second-floor bedroom.
The woman told the officer that several weeks before the Sept. 11 incident, she was letting her dogs out and could see Lemm walking in front of her house naked. When she asked him what he was doing, he said he sometimes likes to go out and just walk naked in the neighborhood, the complaint states.
As part of Lemm's bond, he can't have any contact - in person, by telephone or in any other form - with his neighbor. Lemm is not allowed on her premises.
Lemm was charged with one count of stalking, three counts of invasion of privacy and two counts of lewd and lascivious behavior. If convicted on all of the charges, he faces a fine up to $60,000 and seven years in prison.
Lemm will be back in Sauk County Circuit Court on Oct. 10.
