David Wagner, 74, of Lake Delton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at his residence.
David was born June 21, 1941, in Reedsburg, the son of Arthur and Evelyn (Beckwith) Wagner. He grew up in Reedsburg and graduated from Webb High School.
In 1964 he was drafted into the United States Army and later honorably discharged. In June of 1967 he married Barbara Rose Kesler in Trinity Lutheran Church.
He worked at St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo for 20 years.
He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, traveling especially by Amtrak and he was an all-around handyman.
David is survived by his cherished wife, Barbara; daughters, Ruth (Jeff) Young and Jennifer Wagner both of West Allis; and a sister, Cheryle (Ralph) Kleeber of Reedsburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Gloria; and son in law, Danny Stoeckler.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 28, 2016, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Dells, with Reverend Matt Gehrke officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Burial will be at Lyndon Station Village Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Trinity Lutheran Church and School would be appreciated.
