Randy A. Tracy, 47, of Reedsburg, formerly of Elroy, passed away into heavenly bliss into the arms of our savior on Sunday, Nov. 5, 2017.

Randy was born on July 25, 1970, to David and Sherry (Winchell) Tracy in Hillsboro. He grew up in Elroy and graduated from Royall High School in Elroy.

Randy was a hardworking man and was always willing to offer a helping hand to anyone. He worked various jobs throughout his life; he was a semi-truck driver for Snyder and Roehl, as well as worked for Ho-Chunk Convention Center for 10 years in Environmental Services. He developed many special friendships there that included Eddie Dunkin and Larry Hinze. Randy was a terrific cook and baker. He was always willing to bring something special for pot lucks to share with his coworkers. He was especially noted for his famous desserts: blueberry cheesecake and chocolate French silk as well as his chicken noodles and beer-battered fish. Randy ended his career with Ho-Chunk in 2016 when he could no longer work due to his cancer. He had a special place in his heart for horses and had a great collection of horse statues. During his spare time he was an avid postage stamp collector with his collection going all the way back to 1805. Randy loved attending the Great Circus Parade in Baraboo as well as attending Cranberry Fest in Warrens and Wo Zha Wa Days in Wisconsin Dells.

Randy is survived by his loving mother Sherry Tracy of Reedsburg; siblings, Reva (David) Bodendein of Wonewoc and Rodney Tracy of Fond du Lac; niece Selena Bodendein of Wonewoc; godmother Frieda Hageman of Wonewoc; special and dedicated friends, Sandy and Ken Wrezenski of Reedsburg and William McWayne of Reedsburg; four-legged buddy Snowball; several aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Randy was preceded in death by his father David Tracy in 2000; maternal grandparents, Dariel (Arvella) Winchell; paternal grandparents, Horace (Viola) Tracy; and special cousin Claude Bugbe.

Funeral services for Randy A. Tracy will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 13, 2017, at the Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg, with Pastor David Glesne officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Hillsboro. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.

A special thank you for the devoted care of Dr. Lisa LaPeak at St. Clare Hospital as well as the Oncology Department; also a thanks to Home Health Hospice nurse, Penny, and all the hospice nurses, Home Health CNAs and the staff of the Reedsburg Area Senior Life Center for the excellent care given to Randy. Special thanks also to Sandy Wrezenski for her devoted care and Will McWayne for his special friendship.
