Deanna D. McCauley, 63, of Reedsburg, died on Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017, at University Hospital in Madison following a courageous battle with cancer.
Deanna was born on June 9, 1954, in Reedsburg, the daughter of Bernard and Harriet (Dargel) Krayer. She was a 1972 graduate of Webb High School. On March 13, 1982, she was married to Donald R. McCauley. She was a faithful member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. She enjoyed doing hand-painted crafts and watching Milwaukee Brewers baseball.
Survivors include her husband Don; two daughters, Rachel McCauley of West Bend and Lauren McCauley of Los Angeles; brother Gene (Connie) Krayer of Reedsburg; sister Tricia (Bill) Behn of Reedsburg; mother-in-law Caroline McCauley of Hillpoint; sisters-in-law, Judy (Gerald) Powell of Wales, Karen (Rick) Fairbrother of Richland Center and Diane (Greg) Goetsch of Merrill; brothers-in-law, Denny (Cindy) McCauley and Dan (Natalie) McCauley, both of Hillpoint; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her father-in-law Milford McCauley.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 25, 2017, at St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Reedsburg with Pastor Paul Crolius officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. There will be a visitation from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday at the Hoof Funeral Home in Reedsburg and after 10 a.m. on Monday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Carbone Cancer Treatment Center at U.W. Madison would be appreciated.
