Philip “Phil” R. Galvano, 17, of Wisconsin Dells, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22, 2017, at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church in Wisconsin Dells with Father Eric Sternberg celebrating. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of service at the church.
Phil was born on April 28, 2000, in Cape Coral, Florida, the son of Philip and Markee (Zamzow) Galvano. Philip loved kayaking and fishing. He was also known as a jokester and enjoyed having fun. He was very kind and considerate of others and loved being with his family, friends and especially his girlfriend, Hattie.
Phil is survived by his parents, Philip and Markee of Wisconsin Dells; brothers, Willie (Nicole) Deppe and Johnny (Amanda) Deppe, all of Baraboo; his grandparents, Cora and Richard Zamzow of Wisconsin Dells, and grandmother, Betty Galvano of Fort Myers, Florida; his aunts and uncles, Terri (Tom) Lucke and Jackie Zamzow (Scott Holzem), all of Wisconsin Dells, Richard and Lori Zamzow, Bill and Julie Galvano, Richard Galvano, Peter and Karrie Galvano, Liz and Jeff Harshbarger, Mary and Jonathan Bajohr, all of Florida; his niece, Addie; nephews, Grady and Tatum; and many cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Philip Galvano.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church.
