Americans' selfishness and greed is being exploited by the Donald Trump administration. The tax debate is being manipulated to focus on groups getting a tax reduction — for now.
Less taxes for the wealthy is a given. The rest of us seek answers to tax questions so we can minimize our tax bill. And 14 million people are frantically searching for access to health insurance.
Paul Ryan proudly predicts that the average American is going to like the plan because their taxes will be going down. I don’t hear a word from his mouth saying how the tax bill is taking health care insurance from 14 million people; nor do I hear from many Americans concern about the loss of insurance for many of their fellow citizens.
Shame is on all of us for allowing billionaires to reap more billions to increase their influence in elections. How long will it take for the Trump/Ryan sham to be seen for what it is? In the meantime, our selfishness and greed will come back to us in ways that will be unexpected and unpredicted. “As you sow, so shall you reap,” Galatians 6:7
