My wife and I live on Ash St. here in Baraboo and have a number of trees on the lot which require much raking in the fall. We called the Baraboo High School Key Club and put our name and address on their list for raking leaves.
The first two students came and picked up a load of black walnuts. On Oct. 27, there were 22 students who came to do the job. They completed in about an hour and a half, what would have taken one person a week or so to do. We cannot say enough about the way they handled themselves while working. They are to be commended for their efforts. They are fine young adults who will make their families very proud as they go through life.
