MOUNT HOREB - The Baraboo Thunderbirds girls basketball team captured its sixth consecutive Badger North Conference game on Friday, winning on the road at Mount Horeb, 42-28.

Sam Terry scored 17 points and grabbed seven rebounds for the Thunderbirds, who improve to 6-0 in league play and 9-3 overall.

Baraboo's defense held the home team to single digits scoring in each of the final three quarters, including a four-point second period that allowed the squad to take a 25-14 lead into the break.

BHS was helped by 12 points off of turnovers and 13-of-18 shooting from the free-throw line.

The Thunderbirds return to play on Tuesday in a conference tilt at DeForest. Baraboo won the teams first meeting on Jan. 7th, 52-39.
