LA CROSSE - The Baraboo Thunderbirds girls basketball team stayed perfect on the season at 3-0 following a 42-36 non-conference win at La Crosse Central on Tuesday.

Despite the win, BHS coach Dave Crane acknowledged he'd like to see his team play more efficiently for a full four quarters.

"We had some substantial leads throughout, but we didn't play a very clean game overall," he said. "We had some good individual performances, but as a team we can play much better on both offense and defense. We'll build on this game."

Sam Terry dropped in 17 points, Emily Brinker added 13, and Megan Digmann seven to lead the Thunderbirds.

BHS (3-0, 1-0 Badger North) returns to the hardwood on Friday against the Badger South's Monroe Cheesemakers.
