WISCONSIN DELLS - The Badger North leading Baraboo Thunderbirds girls basketball team grabbed a 56-41 road win over South Central Conference leader Wisconsin Dells, Tuesday.

BHS, which has won 11 of its last 12 games and is ranked No. 8 in this week's Associated Press Division 2 girls basketball poll, was paced by sophomore Emily Brinker's 17 points.

Classmate Sam Terry and senior Megan Digmann contributed with 11 each.

Baraboo took an 8-0 lead in the first quarter and held a 27-16 lead at halftime. Dells (14-6, 8-1) tried to claw back, but never got within six points the rest of the way.

The T-Birds (15-4, 9-1 Badger North), which have already secured at least a share of the conference title, will look to win it outright when they head to Reedsburg (15-4, 7-3).
