Fox Lake gets Little Free Library

FOX LAKE — The Fox Lake Public Library, 117 W. State St., is now home to a Little Free Library.

The idea is to promote reading and neighborliness by offering people the opportunity to share books with others.Monetary donations from Richard Linke of Pardeeville and the Friends of the Fox Lake Public Library helped fund the project, which included building the structure. Library Board member Lori Schultz and New View Woodworking of Fox Lake provided the weatherproofing. The Little Free Library was built in memory of Brenda Rabehl, Fox Lake Public Library assistant from 1994-2004.
