The Mountins are asking their customers to buy four boxes or more of General Mills cereal on sale at just $1.49 each with the Piggly Wiggly Preferred Card and Pat and Jerry will donate two boxes of the same cereal for every four boxes their customers buy and donate.

The goal is to donate at least 2,000 to 3,000 boxes of cereal or more to the food pantries.

The list of cereals include: Chex Cereals (Corn, Multi-Bran, Strawberry, Cinnamon, Chocolate, Rice, Wheat and Honey Nut), Kix, Cheerios, Cocoa Puffs, Golden Grahams, Trix, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Wheaties.

There is no limit to the offer. If you buy 20 boxes of cereal they will donate an additional 10 boxes.

Those who live outside the area may participate by sending a check to: Mountin’s Piggly Wiggly, 1440 Horicon St., Mayville, WI 53050 and they will take care of the donation.

The three food pantries include The Christian Life Fellowship Food Pantry, St. Stephen’s Food Pantry, and Sacred Heart Food Pantry.
