Todd Berry

Get the “State of the Wisconsin Economy” from Todd Berry, president of the Wisconsin Taxpayer’s Alliance at the chamber’s Economic Update Lunch.

The Beaver Dam Chamber of Commerce invites the public to attend its annual Economic Update Lunch on Nov. 25, from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Bayside Supper Club.

Berry is the expert when it comes to Wisconsin tax policy and its effect on your bottom line.  He will provide a “State of the Wisconsin Economy” presentation and then discuss the ramifications of the recent changes in tax policy and law in Wisconsin that will be affecting you today and into the future. Berry, with 15 years experience at the helm of the WTA, and a resume that includes serving as Wisconsin’s assistant secretary of revenue, is an accomplished speaker, giving presentations to thousands annually.

Beaver Dam Mayor Tom Kennedy will provide a “State of the City” presentation, with an emphasis on downtown redevelopment and ongoing development of the newest corporate park. He will also provide a summary report on the 2010 city budget and its tax implications for the citizens of the community.

County Board Chair Russ Kottke will make a “State of the County” address highlighting county projects - especially those specifically affecting Beaver Dam.

He will also comment on the current management structure at the county and the 2010 Dodge County budget and how it will affect county taxpayers.

The cost is $20 per person. Contact the Beaver Dam Chamber of Commerce at 887-8879 for more information.
