Mr. and Mrs. Harvey J. Buchta are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary.
Harvey J. Buchta and Marie A. Schultz were united in marriage on June 18, 1949, at St. Mark's English Lutheran Church, Jefferson, Wis. The Rev. Donald Mosling officiated.
Attendants were Dorothy and the late Dean Schultz, brother of the bride; best man, Alvin Buchta, brother of the groom; and maid of honor, Gladys Jacobs, friend of the bride. The ring bearer was Chuck Schultz and flower girls were Kay and Mary Schultz, nephew and nieces of the bride.
Celebrating with their parents are Jim (Jane) Buchta, Ft. Atkinson, Jeff (Gail) Buchta, Ixonia, Dan (Lois) Buchta, Mayville, Kathy (Peter) Tomasulo, Paradise Valley, Ariz., Barb (Robert) Haessly, Mayville, and Mike (Christy) Buchta, Dousman.
The Buchtas have been blessed with 17 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
