Ray and Judy Stiemsma
The children of Ray and Judy (Weidman) Stiemsma happily announce the couples 50th wedding anniversary.
Ray and Judy were married on Nov. 27, 1959 by the Rev. J. Van Stempvoort at the Christian Reformed Church in East Friesland. Bridesmaids were Janet Henken and Margie Verhulst. The groomsmen were Leonard Verhulst and Gordon Alsum.
Ray is enjoying retirement from his dairy, while still actively farming. Judy served as secretary of South Central Mutual Insurance for 27 years and remains on the board of directors.
They have three children, Steve, his wife Cindy and children Zach, Lucas, Mariah, Bethany and Benjamin; Dan, his wife Mary, children, Stephanie married to Greg, and Shane; and Mike, his wife Sarah and their son Elijah.
An open house is being held in Ray and Judy’s honor on Sunday, Nov. 29, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the First Randolph Christian Reformed Church in East Friesland. No gifts please.
