Make plans to attend Maggie Mae's Country Christmas Concert on Saturday, Nov. 28, at 2 p.m., at the Performing Arts Center in Fond du Lac.

Country singer/Nashville recording artist Maggie Mae, from Oxford, has been entertaining crowds with her country music and yodeling for a few years now. After buying her first guitar in 2002, she taught herself to play and sing and has been entertaining crowds ever since. To date she has recorded five albums, one of which is a Christmas album.

She is a regular performer on RFD TV's "Midwest Country Show" on Saturday nights. She performs with her band Heartland Country at dances, fairs, festivals and ohter events throughout the Midwest as well as singing to the customers at her cafe.

She and her husband Roger also farm and operate Maggie Mae's Cafe on Highway 82 in Oxford, which won the "Restaurant Pick of the Month" award in September through the "Discover Wisconsin" television show. Mae performed this past summer for the "Music Under the Stars" concert series at the Buttermilk Performance Center in Fond du Lac.

Advance seating tickets are $18, or $20 the day of the show, and are available by contacting Mae at: (608) 586-6273. Mae will also be performing her Christmas concert at the following locations: Dec. 5 at the Al Ringling Theatre in Baraboo and Dec. 6 at the Mooney Hollow Barn, Green Island, Iowa.
