JUNEAU — The Dodgeland Board of Education discussed allegations of harassment against an administrative employee Thursday night in a meeting that was closed to the public.
The board took no action regarding the unnamed administrator's contract, and School Board President Jeffrey Caine declined comment on the allegations following the meeting.
Although the agenda did not specify which administrator the allegations pertain to, a group of approximately 12 parents and two students were on hand to express support for District Administrator Ronald Vaughn.
Vaughn was not present for Thursday's meeting, and he told the Daily Citizen Wednesday that Caine had advised him not to comment on the matter.
The board will convene Monday at 7 p.m. in open session, and a closed session will follow, Caine said.
"The reason we are proceeding as we are is we want to give the public an opportunity to be heard at a board meeting prior to any action being taken by the board of education on any personnel matters that have been agendized," Caine said.
