The Beaver Dam Community Library will host the sixth annual Weave a Warm Community Crochet and Knit-a-thon to collect handmade winter items for local charities.
The event will take place on Nov. 7 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Welsh Meeting Room. A relaxing atmosphere and refreshments will be provided for the artists attending. Several patterns will be available, but participants may bring favorites to share. The collected proceeds will go to the Dodge County Toy Bank, Clothes for Kids, PAVE and CWCAC Food Pantry.
Donations of yarn, needles, and pre-made knitted and crocheted items also will be accepted through the end of December at the .Library.

The Beaver Dam Community Library is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. through 8:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. through 5 p.m.
