A few more details have been provided regarding the illegal immigrant sweep between Oct. 13 and 16.
The sweep was conducted by the Wisconsin Justice Department and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.
Four of the 34 illegal immigrants who were arrested in southern Wisconsin were from Beaver Dam. Justice Department officials said those arrested have criminal histories.
The histories of those arrested in Beaver Dam include:
-- Domestic abuse;
-- Possession of marijuana, failure to appear in court, criminal possession of drugs and battery domestic abuse;
-- Manufacturing or delivering of cocaine and battery;
-- A battery charged that had been reduced to disorderly conduct.
The sweep also included arrests in Neosho, Milwaukee, Whitewater, Fort Atkinson, Kenosha and Waukesha.
