Beaver Dam Police Beat

Threats — A social worker the from Beaver Dam Community Hospital contacted police on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. to report that a man who was in the hospital made a threat against a local bar owner. The man’s probation and parole agent was also notified.

Breaking and entering — A woman reported on Tuesday at 3:20 p.m. that someone had burglarized her home in the 100 block of West South Street.

Hang up call — Police received a 911 hang-up call from a man near the intersection of Grant and Mill streets on Tuesday at 4 p.m. The man reported that he had found a lost dog but hung up when the owner of the dog was located. Officers responded and confirmed that it wasn’t an emergency.

Fraud — A man reported at 11:15 p.m. on Tuesday that a woman had gained access to his Match.com. and Yahoo.com accounts. The man also believed that she may have access to his debit card. He was advised to contact the bank and call back to file a complaint if fraudulent charges appear on the bank account.

Animal call — Police removed a dog from a residence in the 400 block of Roedl Court on Tuesday at 8:20 p.m. The dog was taken to Dodge County Humane Society. The man was cited for mistreatment and not having a pet license.

Retail theft — A man reported on Wednesday at 9:15 p.m. that a bottle of pre-workout supplement was stolen from GNC, 106 Frances Lane.

Theft — A man reported on Wednesday at 10:30 p.m. that some clothes were missing from his apartment in the 200 block of Seippel Boulevard.

Harassment — A woman reported on Thursday at 1 a.m. that she was receiving harassing phone calls from her brother who was currently a patient at Beaver Dam Community Hospital. The man was upset because she would not pick him up. Officers made contact with the man, who made other arrangements to get home. The woman went back to her own home.
