Couple charged with burglaries

JUNEAU — A 22-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman both face a slew of charges for breaking into area storage units and cars.

Bryan D.J. Robel and Amanda D. Bryant, both formerly of Waupun, are each charged with being a party to 12 counts of burglary, three counts of theft and one count of identity theft.

They could both face more than 150 years in prison if convicted on all counts.

According to a criminal complaint, Robel and Bryant broke into three cars parked near the Horicon Marsh in April. They stole purses from two of the cars and then used a woman’s credit card to make hundreds of dollars in purchases at two area stores.

Robel and Bryant are also charged with breaking into 12 storage units in Waupun in May.

Acting on a tip, police arrested Robel and Bryant at their former apartment in Waupun.
