The Beaver Dam Unified School District/Community Wall of Fame Committee is seeking nominations for the 2010 Wall of Fame Awards. Honors will be awarded in 2 categories: Friends of Education and Outstanding Alumni.
Friends of Education are individuals or organizations who have given distinguished service to the Beaver Dam Unified School District and its students.
Outstanding Alumni are graduates of the Beaver Dam Unified School District recognized for their exceptional accomplishments. Nominees must fulfill one or more of the following categories:
-- Has made an outstanding contribution to society;
-- Has displayed outstanding leadership;
-- Is a person of historical significance;
-- Has been a prominent local, state, national, and/or world figure.
Nomination packets with additional award information are available at all district school offices, the Educational Service Center (ESC), Beaver Dam Chamber of Commerce, Beaver Dam Public Library, Beaver Dam Piggly Wiggly, and Rechek’s Food Pride. Forms also areavailable at www.beaverdam.k12.wi.us.
The nomination deadline is Feb. 12.
Award recipients will be honored at a banquet on April 11.
