TOWN OF ASHIPPUN: Alcohol a factor in crash

Alcohol played a factor in a two-vehicle crash that left two men injured Tuesday afternoon, according to police.

Mark S. Klingele, 58, of Muscoda, was southbound on Highway P, attempting to turn east onto Highway O, when he struck a vehicle driven by Michael J. Cardena, 23, of Rubicon.

Both men were transported to Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Klingele was cited for operating while intoxicated causing bodily injury. The crash remains under investigation.
