The Dodge County Concert Association will host the second of the 2017-18 concerts on Oct. 13 at the Beaver Dam High School auditorium, 500 Gould St.
Featured are twin brothers Peter and Will Anderson and guitarist Alex Wintz, who form the Anderson Brothers Jazz Combo. Auditorium doors will open at 6 p.m. with seating starting at 6:15 p.m. for the 7 p.m. concert. A drawing for gift certificates takes place at 6:55 p.m. Members must be present to win.
The group features virtuosoes on clarinet and saxophone and bring toe-tapping, heart-lifting jazz to the stage. The brothers are master graduates of Juilliard and were recognized internationally as teenagers. Program highlights include “Begin the Beguine,” “Stardust,” “Tea for Two,” “My Funny Valentine” and many more.
Note that parking is on the street or in the Family Center lot. Handicapped parking will be allowed in the new parking lot off of McKinley Street with handicapped access to the auditorium through the north side entrance.
