Hit-and-run — Police received a report of a hit-and-run in the 900 block of Green Valley Road at 6:21 a.m. on Monday. One driver backed into another’s vehicle. The driver was cited for hit-and-run.
Welfare check — Police received a report of a small child found alone on a roadway and soaked in the 400 block of South Spring Street at 10:09 a.m. on Monday. Social services were notified and the mother was located. The father was also located and found sleeping, unaware the child was gone. Police made a referral for child neglect charges.
Traffic complaint — A driver was cited for second OWI and operating with a suspended license at the intersection of U.S. Highway 151 and Industrial Drive at 11:25 a.m. on Monday.
Accident — Police responded to an accident between two drivers at the intersection of Henry Street and South Lincoln Avenue at 12:46 p.m. on Monday. A driver received verbal warning for not having insurance documents.
Accident — Police responded to an accident between two drivers at the intersection of North Street and North Center Street at 3:35 p.m. on Monday. Both vehicles were removed.
Accident — Police responded to an accident between two drivers at the intersection of Wayland Street and Beichl Avenue at 3:47 p.m. on Monday. One driver received a citation for not having proof on insurance and failure to yield right of way.
Vandalism — A caller reported returning home to a broken bedroom window in the 400 block of Stark Street at 6:54 p.m. on Monday. Police will follow up.
Fight — Police responded to a fight between two females on Charlton Street at 7:17 p.m. on Monday. One female was taken into custody.
Traffic complaint — Police responded to a report of a Silver Mountaineer speeding and almost striking the caller’s girlfriend’s vehicle in the 200 block of Charlton Street at 8:15 p.m. on Monday. An officer made contact with the driver and warned her for her behavior.
Suspicious activity — Police received an anonymous report of a lot of indoor and outdoor activity, possibly drug-related, and fighting and arguing all night long in the 1800 block of North Center Street at 9:10 p.m. on Monday.
Animal issue — A caller reported a dog wouldn’t let her out of her vehicle in the 800 block of South Spring Street at 11:04 p.m. on Monday. The Humane Society was contacted.
Disorderly conduct — A male reported a female started screaming at him when he came home from work in the 100 block of East Mill Street at 2:11 a.m. on Tuesday. Police advised them to stay away from each other and work it out. The male called a second time saying the same female and another male were fighting.
