Theft: Tuesday at 7:37 a.m., a man reported the theft of two checks in the 100 block of Elm Street.

Disorderly conduct: Tuesday at 12:08 p.m., someone in the 100 block of South Center Street told police that someone was yelling and screaming. A man was cited with disorderly conduct.

Vandalism: Tuesday at 12:16 p.m., a woman reported damage to her property by fireworks in the 700 block of Marsh Trail.

Retail theft: Tuesday at 2:14 p.m., an employee at Fleet Farm, 1815 N. Spring St. reported that a man shoplifted. The man was cited with retail theft.

Threat: Tuesday at 4:47 p.m., a man in the 100 block of Rosendale Street told police that someone was trying to extort money from him because of a groin picture. The man was warned about the sexting ordinance and counseled on online safety. There was no way to identify if the picture was his groin.

Accident: Tuesday at 7 p.m., two women were involved in a vehicle accident in the 1500 block of North Spring Street.

Drugs: Tuesday at 7:54 p.m., a woman told police that people were inside a business smoking marijuana in the 800 block of Park Avenue. Three boys admitted to using marijuana. One boy was cited with possession of marijuana.
