Miscellaneous — Friday at 10:51 a.m., someone in the 100 block of Lakecrest Drive reported that a homeless man was fishing in the river and living in the woods.

Intoxicated person — Friday at 12:15 p.m., a man told police that a man was dropping cigarettes and creating a fire hazard in the 100 block of Lakecrest Drive.

Accident — Friday at 2:20 p.m., a 73-year-old woman was cited with inattentive driving near BP, 1644 N. Spring St.

Break-in — Friday at 3:01 p.m., a woman reported hearing someone attempting to force entry in the 500 block of Walnut Street. There was damage found to the house siding.

Retail theft — Friday at 3:26 p.m., a woman was cited with retail theft at Shopko, 822 Park Ave.

Suspicious — Friday at 3:34 p.m., a woman reported that a man was parked by the side of the road staring at young women near the Main Street and Spring Street intersection. He was advised to leave.

Disorderly conduct — Friday at 4:28 p.m., a man reported that boys were being vulgar and making threats near St. Katherine Drexel, 511 S. Spring St. One child made a reference to a gun.

Vandalism — Friday at 7:13 p.m., a woman told police that small trees were cut down in her backyard in the 500 block of South University Avenue.

Intoxicated person — Friday at 10:29 p.m., a traffic stop near the West South Street and First Street intersection resulted in police citing a woman with operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Intoxicated person — Friday at 10:52 p.m., a man reported that a vehicle almost hit him in the 200 block of South University Avenue. A traffic stop resulted in police citing a man with operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Intoxicated person — Saturday at 2:29 a.m., a traffic stop near the Madison Street and Curie Street intersection resulted in a woman being cited with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and driving without insurance. A man was charged with possession of marijuana.

Accident — Saturday at 10:53 a.m., someone reported that a car hit a van in the Culver’s parking lot, 1601 N. Spring St.

Theft — Saturday at 3:02 p.m., a woman reported that her son’s bike was stolen in the 200 block of East Third Street.

Disorderly conduct — Saturday at 3:12 p.m., someone reported that a man returned to the 100 block of Knaup Drive. The man was later transported to jail and cited with domestic disorderly conduct and domestic battery.

Disorderly conduct — Saturday at 5:11 p.m., a woman reported that a mother hit her child at Menard’s, 121 Frances Lane.

Disorderly conduct — Saturday at 10:23 p.m., a woman reported that she had an altercation with a man and she suffered from a small cut in the 600 block of North Center Street.

Disorderly conduct — Sunday at 12:10 a.m., someone at AmericInn, 325 Seippel Boulevard, told police there was an altercation involving a man and a woman.

Retail theft — Sunday at 8:13 a.m., a woman stole two sodas from Rechek’s Food Pride, 609 N. Spring St.

Disorderly conduct — Sunday at 11:38 a.m., a woman reported that a known man left squealing his tires and calling her not nice names in the 400 block of Brook Street.

Drugs — Sunday at 2:38 p.m., a man was cited with possession of drug paraphernalia near the Charles Street and Gilmore Avenue intersection.

Accident — Sunday at 7:01 p.m., a trailer disconnected from a hitch and struck a sign near the Highway 151 and County Road E intersection.

Shots fired — Sunday at 10:52 p.m., a man in the 800 block of South Lincoln Avenue told police he heard one gun shot.
