Jordan M. “Miner” Berghammer, 26, Fond du Lac, formerly of Markesan, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017.

Jordan was born July 13, 1991, in Waupun, the son of Randall and Julie (Jilderda) Berghammer. He graduated from Markesan High School in 2009 and worked as a motorcycle mechanic for Open Road Harley-Davidson in Fond du Lac. During his youth, he was active in 4-H and volunteered at the Senior Center. He loved riding motorcycles, attending concerts and deer hunting.

Jordan is survived by his parents, Randy and Julie Berghammer of Markesan; brother, James Berghammer of Selah, Washington; grandmother, Margo Jilderda of Ohio, Illinois; uncle, Jeff (Kay) Jilderda and cousin, Tiffany of Ohio, Illinois; special friend, Beth; he is further survived by great aunts and uncles, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Justin; paternal grandparents; and maternal grandfather, Miner Jilderda.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Sept. 9, at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 181 S. Main St., Markesan, from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Gary Zacharias officiating. Burial will take place at Proscarion (Manchester No. 2) Cemetery, town of Manchester.
