Sharon (Boettcher) Heim, 73, Winter, formerly of Beaver Dam, passed away Monday, Oct. 31, 2017, at home from a short battle from cancer.
She was born Nov. 20, 1943, to Marvin and Eleanor (Marsch) Boettcher in Beaver Dam. She was a 1961 graduate of Beaver Dam High School. She married Reginald A. Heim March 13, 1993.
Sharon is survived by her husband; three children, Crystal Homewood of Illinois, Theodore (Jill) Williams of Waukesha, and Rachel (Steve) Saunders of Janesville; three stepchildren, Allen Heim of Beaver Dam, Kevin (Holly) Heim of Oconomowoc and Eric (Kathy) Heim of Beaver Dam; five grandchildren, Laura Homewood, Angela Homewood, Ian Gulseth, Alex Williams and Spencer Saunders; four stepgrandchildren, Alyssa, Spencer, Logan, and Bryce Heim; two great-grandchildren, Audriana and Jozee; a brother, R. Scott Boettcher; sister-in-law, Helen Heim; a nephew and niece; the father of her children, Terry Williams; a very special friend, Louise Hoff; and many other relatives and dear friends.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Terry; a great-grandson, Elijah; in-laws, Fred and Evelyn Heim Sr.; brother-in-law, Fred Heim Jr.; and in-laws, Richard and Norma Williams.
The family thanks all those who sent cards, food and thoughts during her illness. Thank you to the Flambeau Hospice nurses staff, especially Shelia, Heather, and social worker, Michelle, Barb and Dave Miller, Maddy Smith, Jan Luethoud, Ron Rudnicki, Judy Patenaude, Bryon and Jocelyn, and all the ladies that sat with me so Reg could golf.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Beaver Dam Humane Society, the Northwoods Humane Society in Hayward, Flambeau Hospice, or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
There will be no funeral or memorial service per her request. Cremation rites were accorded.
