Sally L. Curtis, 79, Columbus, died Friday, Sept. 1, 2017, at her home.
She was born July 19, 1938, in Eldorardo, to Ernest and Frances (Johnson) Norenberg. Sally was married to Roger Curtis April 29, 1966, in Rockford, Illinois. She enjoyed Swedish weaving, embroidery, macrame and painting. In retirement, the couple traveled all over the U.S., wintering in Arizona and spent a summer in Alaska in their motorhome. Sally was so looking forward to her first great-grandchild due this October.
Survivors include her daughter, Tracy Curtis of Columbus; two grandchildren, Zack (Mandie) Klomsten and Jennifer Klomsten (Parker Pribbenow); a sister, Pat Lefeber of Fond du Lac; a brother, Gerald Norenberg of Fond du Lac; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roger, in 2010; son, Kurt, in 1997; three sisters, Betty Zwicky, Jean LaFrancois and Lorraine Thill; five brothers, Earl, Randy, Dale, Donald and Eugene.
A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m., with visitation beginning at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 10, at the Olivet Congregational United Church of Christ in Columbus. The Rev. Beth Voigt will officiate. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Columbus.
