HUSTISFORD -- Eugene K. Schultz, 59, of Hustisford, passed away Thursday, Aug. 21, 2008. He was born on May 11, 1949, the son of Kenneth and Deloris (Hafenstein) Schultz. He married Sara Heintz on Aug. 16, 2000, in Juneau. Gene was a loving and caring man who made friends easily. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping and loved spending his spare time with family and friends.
Gene is preceded in death by his parents; an infant son; his father-in-law, Raymond Heintz.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sara, of Hustisford; his children, Dawn Schultz of Watertown, Heidi Schultz of Juneau, Gary Schultz of Beaver Dam, Hedda (Charles) Rantzow of Hustisford, and Kristopher (special friend Tara Radcliff) Schultz of Mauston. Gene is the dear son-in-law of Gladys Heintz of Mayville and dear brother of Shirley Schultz of Fox Lake, Barbara (Gary) Griep of Watertown, and Brenda (Ronald) Kraft of Randolph. He is the fond brother-in-law of Leonard (Robin) Heintz of Mayville, Steven Heintz of Horicon, Randall (Marlene) Heintz of Mayville, Marcia Carlton of Fox Lake, Judith Rose of Fond du Lac, Jeffery (Morita) Heintz of Lomira, Laurie (Lawrence) Mylrea of Fox Lake, Lee Heintz of Beaver Dam, Brian (Lynette) Heintz of Burnett, Greggory Heintz of Fox Lake, and Bradley (Audrey) Heintz of Indiana; he is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, Aug. 24, from 3-5 p.m. at the Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home, 150 W. Oak Grove St., Juneau. Funeral service will follow at 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Private interment.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
