Pearce H. Lunde, 18, of Beaver Dam, the son of Jim M. Lunde and Kristin Hanson Brown, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Oct. 28, in a car accident on his way to his first day of work at Quad Graphics.
Pearce was a graduate of Beaver Dam High School and enjoyed swimming, disc golf, snowboarding, hanging out with friends and spending time with family. He enjoyed hosting and serving people at Applebee's Restaurant in Beaver Dam.
Pearce was a free spirit who lived for the moment. His bright smile, warm giving heart and big hugs will truly be missed by all who knew him.
Pearce is survived by his parents, Jim Lunde (Pam) and Kristin Hanson Brown (Clint); siblings, Cory Gentz, Zac Brown, TiaRae Brown, Maddux Lunde and Dana Lunde; grandmothers, Shirley Lunde, Carmen Hanson, and Audrey Bedker; grandpa, Bill Bedker; cousins, aunts, uncles and "Mom" Laurie Lunde. Pearce is further survived by other relatives and many friends
Pearce was preceded in death by grandpas Jim Lunde Sr. and Bob Hanson, and step-dad Ray Gentz.
A memorial gathering will take place on Sunday, Nov. 1, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Boulevard,Beaver Dam. In reflecting and honoring the short life of Pearce, everyone is asked to dress casually.
