Robert “Bob” Chrislaw, 93, of 195 Fuller St., Apt. 103, Columbus, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, at Columbus Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, Nov. 3, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Zeidler funeral home in Columbus. A funeral service will follow. Burial will be held at the Courtand Cemetery in the town of Courtland.
Robert was born on Oct. 23, 1916, in Lodi, WI, the son of Roy and Ethel (Pate) Chrislaw. He was a graduate of Randolph High School in 1934 and attended the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
Robert was a member of Courtland Methodist Church in the town of Courtland. Robert spent 20 years of his life buying, selling, and trucking grain. He also farmed in Clinton and Randolph.
He is survived by his two brothers, Wallace Chrislaw, of Clinton, WI., David (Phyllis) Chrislaw, of Schullsburg, WI; his two sisters, Eva Barstow, of Beaver Dam, WI., Mary Ann Barrier, of Murphy, NC; and his special friend, Katherine Tygum, of Columbus, WI. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Don was preceded in death by his parents.
