TOMAH - Linda Ann Luecht, 62, and formerly of Randolph, passed away at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Tomah, Wis., on Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009.
Linda was born on Sept. 25, 1947, in Milwaukee, a daughter to Albert and Esther (Suhaki) Schultz. She entered in into service with the U.S. Army from August 1967 until December 1968. She was united in marriage to George Luecht in Waukesha. They lived in the Randolph area for 20 years. Linda has recently resided at the Veterans Home in Tomah where she received loving care during her illness.
Linda is survived by her son, David and his wife Heather, Middleton; and by her granddaughter Ravenna Luecht. She is further survived by her mother, Esther Schultz, twin sisters, Lila and Lisa, all from Milwaukee; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5, at Courtland Cemetery, in the Town of Courtland, Columbia County, with the Rev. Jeffrey Meyer officiating. Military honors will be provided by the American Legion Post 401 of Cambria.
A memorial fund is being established for her granddaughter Ravenna.
