WAUKESHA - Nola C. Rodefer (Cyrus), 70, of Waukesha, died on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009.
Nola was born on Aug. 29, 1939, in Crandon, Wis., the daughter of Daniel and Mavis (Adams) Cyrus. She married the love of her life, Carl Rodefer, on Feb. 25, 1956. Nola loved sewing, crocheting, ceramics and playing bingo.
Nola will be dearly missed by her children; Dennis (Susan), Mark (Cheryl), Lana (John) Raffensperger, Hollie (John) Nairns, Carla Schrum, Duwayne (Joan), Michael (Tammy) and JoAnn (Randy) Blake; daughter-in-law, Linda; 23 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two brothers and four sisters. Nola is further survived by other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; son, Glenn; great grandson, Tristan; two sisters and one brother.
The funeral service will be on Friday, Nov. 6, at 7 p.m. at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. The Rev. Pam Lange will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m., followed by the service. Private burial will be at Prairie Home Cemetery, Waukesha.
