DOUSMAN - Robert J. “Bob” Winter, 64, of Dousman, passed away Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009.
Bob was born in Beaver Dam on Nov. 26, 1944, the son of Edgar and Delores (Stofflet) Winter. He graduated from Columbus High School. Bob served his country in the U.S. Army from 1962-1965. He married Toni Konkel on May 24, 1969. Bob was a lifelong learner, graduating with degrees from UW-Milwaukee, Marquette University and MSOE. Bob was an executive coach of team leadership for Winter & Associates, and was very active in the MSOE BEC. His greatest joy was spending time and going on the pontoon with his wife, children and grandchildren. He loved gardening and fishing with his grandchildren
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Toni; his children, Jennifer, Neenah, and Chad (Katie), North Prairie; grandchildren, Caitlin (Nick), Samantha, Brad, Tristan, Logan and Aidan; his brothers, Edward and John, both of Beaver Dam; other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Carl.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, Nov. 12, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Highway 83 and County Road D in Genesee Depot, from 4 until 6:45 p.m. The Mass of Christian burial will follow at 7 p.m. Bob will be laid to rest on Friday at 9:45 a.m. at St. Paul’s Cemetery in Genesee Depot.
