Theft — A woman residing in the 800 block of Beaver Street reported on Monday at 8:15 p.m. that someone had stolen decorations. She found a set of keys on her lawn. Police found the owner of the keys. They told him to return the woman’s property and then he could get his keys back.
Gunshots — A woman residing in the 1100 block of Circle Drive reported on Monday at 4:40 p.m. that she heard a gunshot earlier in the day. She decided to contact the police after finding a bird that had been shot in her backyard.
Theft — A man reported on Monday at 4:40 p.m. that his son’s bicycle was stolen while it was parked in the 100 block of South Center Street. The owners located the bicycle with a 17-year-old boy. The boy was taken into custody for bail jumping and was transported to jail.
Retail theft — A 26-year-old man was cited with retail theft on Monday at 6 p.m. after attempting to take items from Piggly Wiggly, 810 Park Ave.
Threat — A man on foot reported on Monday at 6:40 p.m. that a black truck stopped near the intersection of Madison and Mill streets. A man got out of he truck and threatened to beat the walker up. The walker did not know the truck’s driver. Police checked the area but were unable to locate the truck.
Theft — A woman reported on Monday at 7 p.m. that her jacket was stolen while she was at the YMCA of Dodge County, 200 Corporate Drive. The woman had her keys in the pockets. A locksmith was contacted to open the car.
Probation violation — Police received an anonymous report of a 23-year-old woman who was drinking in an apartment on Tuesday at 10:50 p.m. She was violating an order through probation and parole not to drink. Police went to the residence but no one would answer the door.
Theft — Two women went to the police station to report on Tuesday at 1:40 a.m. that a game station and five games were stolen from a home in the 600 block of Madison Street.
