Theft — A woman reported Monday at 9 a.m. that someone had stolen clothes out of a common laundry area in an apartment complex in the 300 block of Jefferson Street. Officers checked, but were unable to find the clothes.
Theft — A man reported Monday at 10:15 a.m. that 100 gallons of diesel fuel, three extension cords and a car battery were stolen from a construction site in the 100 block of Industrial Drive. A portable toilet also was damaged.
Unknown substance — A man reported his daughter was given white powder while she was at Beaver Dam Middle School on Monday. The girl used the substance but did not know what she had taken. Police were unable to test the powder because of the lack of powder that was left.
Retail theft — A 20-year-old woman was cited with retail theft on Tuesday at 4 p.m. after attempting to steal items from ShopKo, 822 Park Ave.
Theft — A man reported on Tuesday at 6:25 p.m. that video games were stolen from display case at Beaver Dam Community Library, 311 N. Spring St.
Graduated driver’s license — Police stopped a vehicle driven by a 16-year-old girl on Wednesday at 2:20 a.m. The girl was cited with a graduated driver’s license violation. The girl and a 15-year-old girl were also cited with curfew violations.
Suspicious behavior — A woman called on Wednesday at 2:25 a.m. to report that her son’s car alarm kept on going off in the 100 block of Judson Drive. She believed that someone was attempting to gain entry into the vehicle.
