Disorderly conduct — Police received an anonymous report about several people yelling and swearing in the 400 block of Madison Street at 2 p.m. on Thursday. Several people received citations and were taken to jail. Two men, ages 22 and 24, were cited for disorderly conduct. A 21-year-old man was taken to jail on a probation and parole hold for violating an absolute sobriety order, and for disorderly conduct. Another 24-year-old man was taken to jail for resisting and obstructing an officer and three counts of bail jumping.
Vandalism — A man reported on Thursday at 7:40 a.m. that a vehicle that was parked in the 1500 block of North Spring Street was vandalized sometime overnight. The tires on the vehicle were slashed and sugar was poured into the gas tank. The windshield of the vehicle was cracked as well.
Vandalism — A woman reported on Thursday at 10:20 p.m. that unknown boys threw a chunk of asphalt at her car.
Theft — A man reported that two filled gasoline cans were taken from his unlocked garage between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Thursday.
Trespassing — A 28-year-old man reported on Thursday at 6:40 p.m. that an unknown person put a lock on his garage in the 400 block of Madison Street and he could not get inside. The man was advised to cut the lock off. The man contacted police again at 8:45 p.m. to report that unknown people shook his camper while he was sleeping in it. The residents of the home were advised to stay away from each other and were told they would be cited if officers had to return.
Disorderly conduct — A 34-year-old woman reported on Thursday at 7:15 p.m. that a 48-year-old woman pushed her while they were at an apartment in the 1200 block of Wayland Street. Both of the women were cited with disorderly conduct.
Retail theft — A 12-year-old girl was cited with retail theft after attempting to steal items from ShopKo, 822 Park Ave., on Friday at 4:30 p.m.
Disorderly conduct — Police responded to a home where a 15-year-old boy had been arguing with his mother and struck her on Saturday at 2 p.m. The boy was taken into custody and charges will be referred against him for disorderly conduct and battery.
