Vandalism – A woman residing in the 900 block of West Burnett Street reported on Monday at 7:15 a.m. that someone had broken a window on her vehicle overnight. Nothing was taken. Theft - A woman residing in the 300 block of West Maple Street reported on Monday at 7:45 a.m. that someone had stolen her wallet and cell phone from an unlocked vehicle overnight. Breaking and entering – A woman reported on Monday at 9:10 a.m. that someone had attempted to break into a locked garage in the 400 block of North Lincoln Avenue sometime overnight. Nothing was missing from the garage but the door was nearly all the way off its hinges. Theft – A woman reported on Monday at 10:15 a.m. that items were stolen from a vehicle that was parked in the 100 block of Frances Lane. Parking complaint – Police received reports of two vehicles that had been left in parking lots around town on Monday morning. In both instances the owners of the vehicles were in Dodge County Jail. They both were given messages to move their vehicles. Disorderly conduct – Police received a report on Monday at 11:30 a.m. of a man in the 600 block of Denning Avenue that was masturbating in his front window. The man denied the report. Disorderly conduct – A woman reported Monday at 7 p.m. that there were a group of boys in the 200 block of South Spring Street who were throwing rocks at her vehicle. A 17-year-old boy was cited with disorderly conduct. Trespassing – Police received a report Monday at 7:17 p.m. that a 19-year-old man and a 14-year-old boy were taking wires and wood off a truck. They both were cited with criminal damage to property and trespassing before being released. Disorderly conduct – A 17-year-old man reported on Monday at 8:30 p.m. that a 23-year-old man had assaulted him in the 200 block of South Lincoln Avenue. The 23-year-old man was cited with disorderly conduct. Probation violation – Police received a report on Tuesday at 12:30 a.m. of a man in the 100 block of Elm Street who was passed out in a front yard. The 46-year-old man was taken into custody for violating an absolute sobriety order from probation and parole.
