Girls soccer: Eagles shut out Beavers

By Citizen Staff

MONONA — Alex Offerdahl had two goals for Monona Grove as the Silver Eagles shut out Beaver Dam, 5-0, in Thursday's nonconference match.

"Monona Grove's a quality program," Beaver Dam coach Kevin Wallace said. "We gave up too many breakaway goals.

Becca Quincey had 15 saves for BD (3-15), which was playing its seventh match in 10 days.

"The girls have been physically challenged the last two weeks," Wallace said. "They've been put under a lot of intensity."
