WAUPUN — Jake Entringer had 227 yards on 19 carries for New Holstein as the Huskies overcame a slow start for a 29-6 win over Waupun in Friday's Eastern Wisconsin football contest.
New Holstein (4-1, 2-1 EWC) finished with 399 rushing yards on 52 attempts.
Waupun (1-4, 0-3) took an early lead when Austin Armga found Andrew Visser for an 18-yard touchdown pass. However, the Warriors could only muster 156 yards of total offense against the Huskies.
Armga finished 5-of-12 for 52 yards in the air while Corey Nickel had 58 passing yards.
Waupun heads to Sheboygan Falls next Friday.
