CAMPBELLSPORT — Waupun turned the football over six times in Friday's 40-7 Eastern Wisconsin rout at Campbellsport.
With the loss, the Warriors (2-5, 1-4 EWC) snap a four-year streak of reaching the playoffs. Waupun lost three fumbles and had three passes picked off.
"We're not going to beat anyone with six turnovers and the way we ran the ball," Waupun coach Rick Applin said. "We couldn't sustain blocks all year.
"After getting in the playoffs for four years, to not get in is disappointing. We didn't deserve it the way we played."
Adam Urmacher, who finished with 16 carries for 82 yards, scored in the first quarter to tie the game at 7.
The Cougars finished off the game with 33 unanswered points.
Taylor Pelot rushed 25 times for 136 yards and three scores while adding an interception return for the Cougars.
Waupun hosts Kiel next week.
