WAUPUN — Jak Lenz, Drew Behling, Ryan Panten, and Bryce Burmania spoke softly.
Well, maybe not — but they did, indeed, carry big sticks.
Those four combined to drive in all but two runs, powering the Waupun American Legion Post 210 varsity baseball team to a 13-1, mercy-rule-shortened victory over Horicon Post 157 in an East Central American Legion Conference game Monday night at Gus Thompson Field.
Lenz and Panten both had two-run doubles in the second and Behling added a two-run single to make for a six-run inning that all but buried Horicon.
Post 210 is now 12-2 on the summer and is in action again Wednesday at Lomira/Theresa.
