BROWNSVILLE — Ryan Panten’s RBI single and Caden Bronkhorst’s sacrifice fly were the highlights of a three-run fourth inning for the Waupun American Legion Post 210 varsity baseball team and starting pitcher Drew Behling made them stand up as Post 210 claimed a 10-1 win over Lomira/Theresa on Wednesday night in an East Central American Legion Conference game.
Behling worked all seven innings, striking out 11 while walking only two and giving up seven hits.
Waupun led 3-1 after five before Behling’s solo homer sparked a three-run sixth to stretch the lead to 6-1.
Bryce Burmania’s RBI single in the top of the seventh followed by Bronkhorst’s RBI double capped off the scoring and provided the final margin.
Next up for Post 210, which is now 13-2 on the summer, is a home game today against Ripon, with first pitch at Schlieve Field scheduled for 7 p.m.
