FALL RIVER — Randolph’s Brianna Prieve and Lily Aslum proved too much for Fall River in Tuesday’s Trailways West Conference game at Fall River High School.

Alsum led the Rockets with 13 points and Prieve chipped in with 10 as the visiting team defeated the Pirates 39-31.

Prieve hit twice from beyond the arc to get most of her points.

At halftime, the Rockets only led the Pirates by two, 14-12, but in the second half they grew the lead to double digits. The Pirates couldn’t come back from the fast start by the Rockets.

Sam Leisemann led the Pirates with nine points while both Karlee Van Gysel and Lexi Rozinski had six points apiece in the loss.

Fall River’s Maddie Gregorio only had five points, but she contributed with seven rebounds and three steals. Rozinski also added eight rebounds on the night.
