WAUPUN – Yvette Navis brought her A-game when she stepped foot in the circle during Thursday’s WIAA Division 2 regional semifinal against seventh seeded Brown Deer.

Navis pitched all four innings while just giving up two hits on the day and striking out 10 to lead the second seeded Waupun team to a 13-0 victory.

Both Megan Gerber and Megan VanRuiswyk went 3-for-3 at the plate for Waupun who is the seventh ranked team in Division 2 according to the Wisconsin Fastpitch Coaches Association. VanRuiswyk had two doubles and both her and Gerber scored three runs apiece in the win.

Waupun will now host third seeded Kewaskum – who defeated sixth seeded Sheboygan Falls 6-1 on Thursday – today at 5 p.m.
