Pharmacy will offer delivery during filming

COLUMBUS — With access to the Columbus downtown to become limited due to the filming of "Public Enemies" Sharrow Drugs, 100 S. Luddington St., will make life a bit easier for those wishing to secure prescriptions.

Instead of customers coming to them, Sharrows will go to their customers by offering delivery services during the filming process.

"We are asking for people to call to refill their prescriptions two to three days ahead if possible," said co-owner Nick Sharrow.

Sharrow said the store will be open during the filming process, however they wanted to find a way to compensate customers who might be bothered by the filming of the movie or who are unable to get into the downtown area during the filming.

"We're offering delivery services the week of filming, before and throughout filming," Sharrow said.

To contact Sharrow call 623-2700.

Despite the set work and the filming, most stores in downtown Columbus will remain open. In many instances, access will be allowed through rear entrances.

Filming officials said they hope to keep access restrictions to a minimum. Highway access to downtown will be closed from March 10 through 20.
