Man who did his time for assault is free

Baraboo resident Jeffrey T. Wilder, 38, is being returned to the community after being convicted on three counts of child sexual assault stemming from May of 2002.

He will be living in the Baraboo area under the supervision of the state Department of Corrections.

Wilder is not wanted by police at this time, but has been convicted of a sex offense that requires lifetime registration with the Sex Offender Registry Program.

This person's criminal history means he could be a high risk to re-offend. Additional details about his past offenses were not available.

Baraboo police advise the public that use of this information to threaten, harass or intimidate a sex offender is illegal.

His probation/parole officer is Amy Ward at (608) 355-3844
